Many leading therapists opt not to participate as in-network providers with insurance companies due to the fact that insurers typically reimburse therapists at only 50% of their standard private practice rates. Typically, therapists who do work with insurance are newer practitioners seeking to establish their client base. However, Unitē can still assist you in reducing your therapy costs by making use of your out-of-network benefits or utilizing your HSA/FSA account.

Recognizing the paramount importance of finding the perfect match, Unitē extends a complimentary 20-minute introductory call to all our customers. This allows you to have direct conversations with your potential matches, gaining insights into their distinctive therapeutic approaches and addressing any queries you may have. Our aim is to ensure your enthusiasm for the match, as we understand that compatibility plays a pivotal role in building a strong therapeutic alliance.

If you’ve found your way to this page, it’s probable that you’re considering the positive impact investing in your mental health can have. A common misconception is that therapy is exclusively for individuals facing severe challenges. However, in truth, life presents us all with its ups and downs. Therapy is a widely embraced and effective means of navigating these fluctuations (with nearly a third of adults seeking mental health treatment in the past two years). No concern is too trivial for therapy, and waiting until situations escalate should not be the only catalyst for starting this journey.

Part of the intake process when you start working with any therapist is getting to know your and your background. In our intake survey, you will get to pick your therapist preferences. If you prefer an ally, which many Unitē clients do, we still ensure you’re working with a therapist who will “get you.” Our ultimate goal is to save you time and money by NOT having to explain critical elements of our communities to a therapist who doesn’t understand.
